The Armenian carpet “Gohar” with an Armenian inscription, 1700, Artsakh.

Three large ornamental motifs are arranged one below the other on a reddish field; the middle one is cross-shaped. At the top, just below the border, 2 lines of Armenian inscription are woven into the carpet. The carpet is framed by a border of geometric patterns.
