Gold cup with precious stones, 1727

Gold cup decorated with emeralds, rubies and blue sapphires. Western Armenia, 1727.

The cup stands on a tall stem that widens towards the bottom and ends in a base with wavy edges. The stem has spherical and flower-shaped knots. The whole surface is covered with multicoloured ornament and set stones.
