Saint Shushanik

Shushanik (440 – 18 October 475), daughter of the Armenian military commander Vardan Mamikonyan and wife of Varsken, pitiakhsh (governor) of South Kartli. She is venerated as a martyr by the Georgian Orthodox Church and the Armenian Apostolic Church (as Susanna of Ran or Susanna of Georgia).
