Saint Nicholas Cathedral in Northern Cyprus
Saint Nicholas Cathedral in Northern Cyprus, built by the Armeno-Latin Lusignan dynasty in 1326. The last 5 kings of Cilician Armenia were crowned in this cathedral. The Turks turned the cathedral into a mosque and added a minaret to it.
The photograph shows the front of the cathedral, with three entrances under pointed arches and a large round patterned window in the centre. A minaret rises beside the left tower.
