Portrait of a Champion

Portrait of a champion. Martiros Saryan paints the world chess champion Tigran Petrosyan.

Petrosyan sits in an armchair, and Saryan is opposite him at the easel, brush in hand. The portrait is already visible on the canvas. A little girl stands by the armchair, and many paintings hang on the walls.
