A casket for liturgical incense from Caesarea (Kayseri), dated 1787. It was made by Armenian craftsmen from partly gilded silver. It is kept in a museum in France.
The casket is many-sided and has a dome-shaped lid decorated with sun faces and topped with an openwork ornament. Sacred scenes are embossed on its sides; the front side shows the Crucifixion, with two standing figures on either side of the cross.
