Yazidi Temple in the Village of Aknalich

The Ziarat, also called Sultan Ezid, is a Yazidi temple in the village of Aknalich in the Armavir Province, opened on 29 September 2019. It is the first Yazidi temple built outside the Yazidi homeland in northern Iraq. In the autumn of 2019 a larger Yazidi temple was opened nearby.

The photograph shows a white stone building with a tall conical top in the centre and smaller conical towers around it, crowned with metal ornaments.
