A Horse Carriage on the Dilijan Road
The photograph shows a horse carriage standing on the Dilijan road, around 1910. It was taken by Aram Simeoni. At that time the area was part of the Russian Empire.
The carriage is drawn by one horse and has a hood at the back; the driver sits in front. Beside the road rises a rocky slope on which three men in uniform are standing, one of them with his arm raised. Forested mountains fill the background.
