The “Holy Mary” metro station in Tehran

A new metro station, “Maryam-e Moghaddas” (“Holy Mary”), has opened on Line 6 in Tehran. The station was built in honour of the Armenian Christian community of Iran and lies in the centre of Tehran, just a 2-minute walk from the Armenian Cathedral of Saint Sarkis.
