Sacramental Tiara, 1853

Sacramental tiara, 1853, Armenia.

The tiara is dome-shaped, made of silver-coloured and gold-coloured metal, with a cross on top. Red velvet shows through its openwork parts. The upper part bears images surrounded by rays and a dove; the lower band shows the Crucifixion and figures with haloes.
