The Treaty of Kars, 1921

On 13 October 1921 the Treaty of Kars was signed between the Armenian, Azerbaijani and Georgian SSRs on the one side and Turkey on the other, with the participation of the RSFSR.

The photograph shows about 15 men seated around a long table in a decorated hall, with one man standing at the head of the table. The table is covered with a cloth and papers lie on it. A large landscape painting hangs on the wall, and on the right is an ornamented door.
