The Satirical Newspaper Aptak, London, 1895

Aptak, the first Armenian satirical newspaper, London, 1895.

The photograph shows the front page of the paper. At the top, inside an ornamental frame, the title appears in large letters, with the words «ԼՈՆԴՈՆ» (London) and «1895» beneath it. Most of the page is taken up by a caricature: a bearded man in a top hat rests his hand on the head of a man standing in a pit, while on the left stands a man with a tool.
