Demirchyan, Aliyev and Shevardnadze at the Sardarapat Memorial.

The Sardarapat Memorial is a sculptural and architectural complex built on the site of the Battle of Sardarapat. It commemorates the victory of Armenian armed forces and the people’s militia over the regular Turkish army in 1918.
